Welcome to the Auckland Flexible Carpooling home page!
Auckland, the City of Sails, could soon also be the City of Carpooling!
Flexible carpooling saves people time and money and reduces greenhouse gas emissions and fuel use.

Flexible carpooling is developed route by route. We need 100+ people using a route for it to work.
If you are interested in helping build support for your prefered route you might like to print off our flyer and share it with work colleagues or neigbours: A Better Way To Get To Work.
We think Auckland is a great place to do flexible carpooling. The people are friendly and community minded. There are many congested traffic routes where improvements will make a difference.
We are currently exploring potential services to increase carpooling to the Albany Bus Station. The North Shore City Council are dedicating 86 spaces for carpoolers to use from 1 October 2010. We want to make sure these are fully used each day.
