What if I drove to work late, can I still pick riders up in the evening?
Yes, this helps to ensure there is capacity in the evening to take everyone back to their flexible carpooling park.

What if I know I will be working late, so I drive, should I still take riders in the morning?
Yes, we recommend that in the morning everyone takes two riders, and in the evening they take three. In this way there should always be enough capacity even if some people have to work late.

What if I wake up feeling sick, who do I have to call to tell them I won't be there today?
You don't have to call anyone. That is the beauty of order of arrival carpooling.

I can only carpool one or two days a week. Won't it mess up the system if I am not reliable?
The system is based on the fact that many people have changing travel needs, but that there is a large number, a 'critical mass', of people who do the same journey most days. Adding a few more, or having a few not arrive each day, will not upset the system at all. So everyone is welcome as often as they find it convenient to join in.

What happens if the flexible carpooling park is full before I get there?
The flexible carpooling administration will try to balance members with parking spaces, but some days its possible the park will get full. There will be a sign out on the main road showing when the park is full so you don't have to come in to find out. The pattern of traffic flows through each park will be on the flexible carpooling website so that it is really clear to everyone what time of the morning the park gets full. Then if there is more demand the administrators will seek more investment in parking facilities.

Who pays for the parking facilities?
The local transportation authorities will pay for parking facilities if they see enough demand and enough usage.
